How quickly can you deliver my cake?

We offer a next day home delivery service if you place your order before 2pm. Please be aware that we currently do not offer home delivery on Monday, our delivery service runs from Tuesday – Sunday.

Who will deliver my cake and how will I know an expected delivery time?

Your cake or muffins will be delivered by DPD Local. They will contact you on the day before your requested delivery date to confirm a unique tracking number. They will also get in touch with you on the morning of your requested delivery date to provide a 1-hour delivery time slot. Unfortunately, delivery times cannot be requested nor changed.

What if I am not going to be in when my cake or muffins are due to be delivered?

Once you receive your 1-hour delivery time slot from DPD Local, you will be able to request your parcel to be delivered in a safe place or divert the delivery. DPD Local also have a great app which can be downloaded in the app store and allows you to manage your deliveries.

When do you advise I order a cake or muffins for my celebration?

Our products are baked fresh and then frozen ahead of delivery in order to maintain their beautiful appearance during transport. Your cake or muffins will need to be defrosted; therefore, we recommend you order your product a day before they are required.

I need my order to be delivered on a Monday, but it is not a delivery option.

No problem! We always advise that you get your cake or muffins delivered a day before they are actually required to allow ample time for defrost. Therefore, we recommend you order your product for delivery on a Sunday, so you are able to slowly defrost overnight. Your cake or muffins will be delicious and ready to consume on the Monday!

What happens if I need to change or amend my order?

Should you wish to make a change to your order then we require at least 72 hours’ notice before your selected delivery date. Unfortunately we cannot make any amendments to orders once they have been fulfilled by our bakery team.

Please tell me how it’s best to keep my cake or muffins?

Why is my order arriving frozen?

We have found that freezing our products after they have been baked fresh means that they do not get damaged during transport. We have also found that once our products have been defrosted, they still taste fresh and are packed full of flavour.

How long can I keep my order once it has arrived?

As your order will arrive frozen, you can pop it straight into your freeze for up to 6 months. If you are choosing to defrost your order as soon as it arrives then we do advise that it tastes best as soon as it has defrosted but they can last up to 2 days.

When can I eat my cake?

Our cakes take around 3 – 4 hours to defrost at room temperature. For best results, our team recommends leaving your cake to slowly defrost overnight in the fridge. Once defrosted, we recommend that you store your cake in the fridge.

When can I eat my muffins?

Our muffins take 2 – 3 hours to defrost at room temperature. For best results, our team recommends leaving your muffins to slowly defrost overnight at room temperature. Once defrosted, we recommend that you store your muffins at room temperature.
